Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - A Brief History

The Breed Standard describes the Cavalier's temperament as gay, friendly, non-aggressive,
active, graceful, fearless, sporting, gentle, and affectionate.
It is this typical gay temperament, combined with the Cavalier's true elegance and royal appearance, which are of paramount importance to the breed.
Size: Height is 12 to 13 inches at the withers. Weight is proportionate to height, between 13 and 18 lbs.
